traveling . . .

testing one two three...well, i got back from a trip to Mobile, Alabama. They had a very nice hotel called The Battle House Renaissance Hotel and Spa, on South Royal Street in downtown Mobile next to the bay. The attendants were attentive and the concierge was able to find me the perfect room with a discounted rate. i ordered room service, a movie, and breakfast in the morning. There is an unannounced gift shop, a warm glowing cafe, and a grand ballroom for special events. Be sure to ask about the tour of the battleship while you are there.

In other journeys, i found i very much liked Arkansas, & i visited Hope Arkansas which was the birth place of former President Clinton. I must say, what a pretty name for a town. : )

I also traveled through Memphis and Nashville. It was a long drive. the hills were long and the traffic had small double lanes with the right lane being full of large trucks and the left lane used mostly by sadans and passing vehicles. In Nashville there was snow, small flurries, but none-the-less. I opted not to travel up to Kentucky being that it was 20 degrees and my car was not equipped for cold weather. South Tennessee was very nice with some growing sceenery to it. passing by a placed called Lewisburg, i found i loved the trees there. It looked very inviting and pretty. Also, some of the mountians seemed to have frozen streams of water coming out from the rock, which looked very interesting. What was also interesting were some of the trees that were bent from the cold and the wind over time.

Alabama! the northern part of alabama was just amazing. The hills grew like mountains as I traveled along further, the road had a quiet wind to it in through the climbing mountians. And there was a villa, right in the middle of two mountians, just like it were nestled in a valley. That's about it as for my travels so far. . .
